What Is Cloud-Based CRM?

It seems like “the cloud” is everywhere these days. If you use web-based email like Gmail or Yahoo! Mail, or services like Dropbox or Carbonite to store files and photos, then you are already using a form of cloud computing.

These applications don’t run on your personal computer. They are running on a network of computers housed in data centers which are owned and and maintained by service providers. All you have to do as a user is log in via a web browser on any device with an internet connection.
